    Thanks a lot for the useful content. Can the warmup be done 1 hour in advance of the game? Or does it have to be done right before the game?

    Thanks again for the great video! Just a question. I'm coaching friends of mine. They are reasonable squashplayers. Do you think I should give the most attention to improve playing with the glace(just straight) and the volleys? And if they are comfortable with those shots I go to the turn? I'm asking this because I see a lot(Netherlands) coaches fairly quickly go yo the turn shots. Thanks!!

    • @ThePadelSchool

      Yes usually better to start with no turn on the glass and progress to the turn as you develop.

    Nice! I have recently started lobbing twice in a row which has been a very effective way of tiring the person out or force a mistake. Most people, on intermediate level at least, tend to rush to the net after hitting a bandeja or return. Making a second lob somewhat surprises many since they often expect the ball on the opened space. And also they get tired of rushing back and forth.

      I hate risky slice partners. You always have to play close to the net to not hit glass. Do some gentle brushing instead.

    Great strategy. Only problem is that is illegal since you have to let the ball first drop before volleying out of the air on your serve. Otherwise I’d be doing this all the time lol

    They never teach that you should play slice when you are at the net but play with no spin when you defend at the back. You don’t win anything when you hit with slice and the rivals are at the net. Slice make the ball to fly more and you need to the ball to quickly go down after it passes the net. You can use top spin but the problem is that if you hit it too hard the ball will bounce too high when it touches the back glass and it would give the opponent a very easy ball in mid court and you won’t have much time to go to the net

    • @ThePadelSchool
      @ThePadelSchool 5 дней назад

      It also can add slice to the ball which is great for padel. It's a great tool for players, coaches and clubs and can be worth it depending on the scenario. Whether you want to save money on getting coaching lessons or maybe you're a club and want to offer it to players to rent....it can be worth it for many reasons and is a great piece of equipment!

    i don't know if this is applicable, but i'd love a video with a guest who can give tips on how to play padel without it messing up your tennis game and vice versa. at lower levels, they'll help each other since you're getting used to racquet sport, but i find that once i start getting advanced ultimately i'll hinder one of the skillsets ultimately. i'm also realistic that for some people it'll just have to be a sacrifice.
